As a teen, he started skateboarding professionally, achieving his first endorsement deal at just 13 -years-old. Representing top companies such as Volcom, he eventually designed a best selling custom pro model sneaker for Globe shoes-making history among the brand and industry’s biggest sellers. In the midst of his rise to prominence, he founded & operated 2 action sport retail locations, and co-founded Darkstar skateboards, which would be acquired by World Industries.
