Keep reading to learn how to share your digital business card on popular digital media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and more.

QR Code

1) Open the profile tab in Business Card Reader and click the Share button

2) Select QR Code and then click Create

3) Share the generated URL via email or text message or any other social media platform you are using

4) Click Confirm when you’re ready to create the code

5) Copy the generated code and paste it into an instant messaging chat window or SMS text message

6) Hold up your phone’s camera so that the camera points at the QR code on the screen of your device

7) When prompted, scan. The scanned image will appear on their device. They can now save the information by clicking Save Image. From there, they’ll be able to open the saved image and add it as contact information in their contact list.

Custom link

You can share your digital business card with anyone, even if they don’t have the app. Here’s how:

1. Tap the Share button in the top right corner of your screen.

2. Select the method you’d like to use to share your card. You can share it via WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, or email.

3. If you’re sharing via WhatsApp, select the contact you want to share your card with. Then tap Send.

4. If you’re sharing via Facebook, Twitter, or email, enter the recipient’s name and phone number (if applicable), then tap Next.

5. Enter a brief message that will be included with your link and tap Finish Sharing when you’re done! Remember to always double-check who you are sending it to.

Interactive PDF

You can now create an interactive PDF of your business card that includes links to your website, social media profiles, and email address. To share your card, simply attach the PDF to an email or post it on social media. You can also print out the PDF and hand it out like a traditional business card.

If you have one that is mobile-friendly, consider sharing the URL to your LinkedIn profile instead. Doing so allows people with smartphones and tablets to scan your QR code from the screen. When they do, they’ll be redirected to your LinkedIn profile where they’ll see all of your contact information.

If you don’t have a mobile-friendly card but want to use this technique, include a QR code in the lower right corner of the printed version for anyone who scans it with their smartphone.

Networking on LinkedIn

If you’re in business, then you know the importance of networking. And if you’re serious about networking, then you know that LinkedIn is one of the best places to do it. But what about those digital business cards? You can add them to your LinkedIn profile so that your connections can easily find and save them.

They’ll also show up in search results for people who are searching for your company or services. When sharing with someone outside of LinkedIn, use a platform like Hootsuite or Buffer to schedule when you want the post to go live (in case they’re not online). Or just email the person directly with a link to your website or other place where they can access the digital card.

Your digital business card needs more than just an address! It’s also important to include information about your phone number, social media profiles, contact hours, etc. to make sure that potential clients have everything they need right at their fingertips.

Some designers even create videos as part of their business card to give potential clients a better idea of their personality and approachability. Once you’ve created your new digital business card, it’s time to spread the word! Share it on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram – really anywhere and everywhere.

Networking on Instagram

Instagram is a great way to connect with other professionals in your field. You can search for hashtags related to your industry, or follow accounts that interest you. When you find someone you want to connect with, simply send them a DM (direct message).

Many people are happy to connect with others on Instagram, and you can exchange digital business cards through the platform. This is a great way to build your network and expand your reach.

Networking on Facebook

You can add your business card to your Facebook profile so that it appears in the about section. Also add a call-to-action button that links to your website or online store. You can also join relevant Facebook groups and post your business card in the group’s files section.

Finally, you can create a Facebook Page for your business and include your business card in the about section of your Page. When people like your Page, they will see your business card displayed prominently at the top of their feed.
